1. Sign In or Create an Account


If you have purchased from the Freedom Scientific online store before, select the link fo Sign In on the top right side of the page. Enter your e-mail address and password in the fields on the left side of the page and select the link for Log In.


If this is your first purchase from the Freedom Scientific online store, enter your e-mail address, password and, first and last name in the fields on the right side of the page, and select the link for Create Account.

2. Choose a Shipping Address


Tell us where you would like us to ship your order. If you enter a new address or edit a saved address, be sure to save changes before continuing on.

3. Checkout


Review the items in your shopping cart. If you don't want to purchase a particular item right away, select Delete. The item will be removed from your shopping cart. When you're ready to place an order for everything in your Shopping Cart, select Checkout. You will be taken to the Shipping and Payment page. From their you will be taken to the Order Preview page to confirm the accuracy of the order. Once you have made any necessary changes you can select Place Order. You may then print this page using the Print option. A confirmation email will be sent to your "bill to" email address.

4. Choose Shipping Method


Consider how quickly you would like to receive your order, and choose a shipping method. We have Four options: UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day, UPS 2 Day, and Next Day. Select the radio button for the method that meets your shipping needs.

5. Choose Payment Method


Orders placed online with Freedom Scientific may be paid using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. To pay by check, money order, or purchase order, please place your order with the Freedom Scientific customer service department by calling 800-444-4443 or 1-727-803-8000, press option 3. Your payment information is guaranteed to be secure while shopping online with Freedom Scientific. 6. Review and Submit


Check the accuracy of the information you provided and make any necessary changes. Then select Place Order to submit your order.

7. How to Change or Cancel an Order


You can change an existing order by canceling it and placing a new order. You also can place a new order for items you did not include in your first order. You can cancel an order anytime during checkout by selecting "Cancel." You can also cancel an order after you've completed it, provided that we have not already finished processing the order for shipment. To cancel after your order is completed, call Freedom Scientific customer service at 800-444-4443 or 1-727-803-8000, press option 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (EST), Monday through Friday. We will do our best to act on your request to cancel orders after you have placed them. However, we fill orders quickly and may have already processed your order for shipping. If we are unable to cancel your order before it has been processed, be assured that you can return any unwanted items to us after you receive them. Instructions on how to return items can be found on our Policies and Procedures page.

8. Return Policy


Items returned to Freedom Scientific must be in a new and clean condition with all original manufacturer packaging and accessories intact (without stickers, markings or other attachments). All computer software must be returned unopened.


Please take the following approach to ensure a prompt refund:
  • All returns must be sent back to Freedom Scientific within 30 days of ordering to receive a full refund minus shipping.
  • Contact Freedom Scientific to request a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) Number. This number is to be clearly posted on the outside of the package in which you ship the return.
  • Re-package your Freedom Scientific item(s) with all the original packaging and/or accessories.
  • Please ship your return item back to the indicated "Ship To" address you are given when you receive your RMA number. Freedom Scientific suggests insuring your package and shipping via a method that can be tracked, such as UPS, to ensure proper delivery. Freedom Scientific is not responsible for lost or damaged articles.

To qualify for a product return when a non-software product has been opened, it must be returned with all original components, accessories, software, manuals and registration cards. The return may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

9. Shipping and Handling


Shipping and handling charges are based on the items that you purchase online and the shipping method you choose. Your order will be shipped within 48 to 72 hours. Orders shipped from Freedom Scientific will be sent via UPS as per your selected shipping method. UPS Ground shipments will be sent to continental U.S. customers only. For rush and/or orders outside the United States, please contact the Freedom Scientific customer service department by calling 800-444-4443 or 1-727-803-8000, press option 3.

10. Sales Tax


Sales tax is charged for orders shipped to Florida, Massachusetts, Texas, Washington, California, Alabama and Connecticut. The amount of sales tax charged is based on current state sales tax rates. State sales tax rates are subject to change at any time.

11. Security


The Freedom Scientific/Network Solutions secure sockets layer (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. SSL is provided by Network Solutions.


12. Product Maintance Agreement (PMA)


Product Maintenance Agreement (PMA) is an optional support agreement for your hardware based products and entitles you to receive repairs on your unit, including parts and labor, for 12 months. (Customer pays shipping.)

13. Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA)


Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) is an optional support agreement that entitles you to receive two consecutive upgrades at up to a 50 percent discount over standard list prices

14. Annual Software Agreement (ASA)


An Annual Software Agreement (ASA) is an optional support agreement that entitles you to receive the latest versions of Freedom Scientific software. It does not cover upgrades to any third party software, including but not limited to Microsoft products.

15. How to Change Your E-mail Address


To change your e-mail address or password, go to Your Account(located at the top right side of each page), sign in and select the link for Email Address. Enter a new e-mail address in the proper boxes and select Save Changes. For added security, you will be asked to verify the current password for your account before making changes.

16. How to Change Your Password


To change your email address or password, go to Your Account (located at the top right side of each page), sign in and select the link for Email Address. For added security, you will be asked to verify the current password for your account before making changes. Enter a new password in the proper boxes, and select Save Changes.

17. How to Change Your Shipping Information


Your Address Book provides a convenient way to store names and addresses for shipping. To add a new address, go to Your Account (located at the top right side of each page) and sign in. In the Address Book, selet the link for Add New Address. To change an existing address in your Address Book, select the Edit button below the address. If you'd like to remove an address, select Delete.

18. How to View Your Order History


Your Order History lets you review your current and past orders and get updates on your order status. To view your Order History, go to Your Account (located at the top right side of each page), sign in and select the link for Order History.

19. Item is Missing


Sometimes because of varying item availability and warehouse locations, you may receive more than one shipment when you place an order with multiple items. We will not charge you extra for split shipments. The invoice you receive with your order will tell you which items have been shipped separately. 20. Forgot Password


If you can't remember your password, just go to Sign In (located at the top right side of each page), select the link for Forgot Your Password? under Sign In, enter your email address, and select Send. We'll email your password to you shortly.
